Both bands were at the Toronto Rocks concert, also known as SARSstock, in July, 2003

k, i've heard of this band is about it - what are their big hits?

American Woman (later butchered by Lenny Kravitz), No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature, These Eyes

Not official hits, just their better-known songs.

There are two other songs from them that I think are great. One is called No Time, and the other is called Undone (or Undun?).

Decent band. They certainly put their stamp on the early 70's easy rock sound.

Cant' really post with much authority here. Their hits were and are good songs for the oldies stations. I'll second the emotion that BTO was a hard driving, hard rocking band that put out some great albums with Sledgehammer a personal favorite.

Listening to some tunes right now biggrin.gif

Love the line from Almost Famous

Lester Bangs: "Jim Morrison? The doors? Jim Morrison is a drunken buffoon posing as a poet. Give me the Guess Who. They have the courage to BE drunken buffoons, which MAKES them poetic"
