Best album ending song?

LVS- AINEC.

 

The Garden is somewhere in the middle of this list. To be honest, it's probably near the bottom for me on CA.

 

And Bravado smokes the Garden for me, whatever the other poll says.

 

It's a decent song, but I just don't get what all the excitement is about. In the history of ballads there are hundreds of better songs than The Garden, but in the history of Rock and/or instrumentals there not many better songs than LVS.

My favorite Rush song flips back and forth between La Villa and Nat Sci. Natural Science wins tonight (just had a memory of 'dancing' to Nat Sci at the Calgary Saddledome with a cool Rush chick!)

Ummm, glad to see two others picked "Available Light". To me, that's just such an unusual Rush song. For whatever reason, it's been my fave since I first heard it lo these many years ago (circa 1989). The Garden may ultimately replace it, but not quite yet...

"Available Light" is a fave of mine for sure, but not in the park with NatSci and LaVilla.

As great as The Garden, La Villa, and Natural Science are I would still say Between The Wheels because it has my fav Rush guitar solo of all time.

I like Available Light a lot to. Don't think just because it has a low vote count that a lot of people think it's a bad song or anything. There's just too many great tunes Rush has closed their albums out with like Fountian Of Lamneth, Something For Nothing, Cygnus X-1, La Villa, Natural Science, Vital Signs, Between The Wheels and Mystic Rhythms. It's got some very stiff competition but I think it's a great tune. Far, far better than The Garden.

Love The Garden, but the power of LVS cannot be denied after all these years.

I know the band doesn't like the song, but it resonates the most with me. It's a positive, upbeat celebration of humanistic endeavors... or something. Also, Minimoog solo.

 

Natural Science is a very close second though...
