The Who It's cool if you don't like The Who, but saying that they are overrated is a totally different story. There is nothing overrated in regards to The Who. The Cat 3
I don't know why but I can't listen to Santana. I can listen to one or two songs and I'm good for a few years. No disrespect intended to his fans or to his (obvious) talent. There is some kind of disconnect and it just doesn't work for me.

I feel the same way about Prince. The dude is extremely creative, and I saw him tearing it up on the guitar once, and I was thoroughly impressed. The dude can play. But I just can't get into his music. I respect the artist, but I just don't dig his music.

ColdFireYYZ
Also can't get into Phish. I tried listening to their live shows on XM but I just couldn't. ILSnwdog
QUOTE (Rick N. Backer @ Jul 10 2012, 08:46 AM) The Ramones. Some of their stuff is OK in a Weird Al Yankovic curiousity way for me, but I just cannot understand the love some people have for them. I think people like the fact that they were completely different than everything else out at the time. They were fresh, brash, and completely against the grain. That said, I like the Ramones, but I can't listen to them for very long. It takes a small dose of the Ramones before I reach the RDA (that's recommended daily allowance ) of Ramones music. Their music is very simple and gets old quickly.
