Does anyone have an Idea of how the wheather is gonna be in Las vegas on November 23rd?

Is it very cold already? not snowing I hope

Just Dont know what clothes to pack, I was there last year on June 24th last Rush Concert and the sun was insane, you couldnt walk of a shadow.

Snow? In Vegas?  rofl3.gif

I was actually kinda wondering the same thing. I'm more curious how cold it gets overnight.

According to Wikipedia, the average high in November is 66F, average low is 44F.

Hey Rushchick!   Glad you brought up the Vegas Thread!

Just booked the flight and a suite at the MGM GRAND.

Don't have our tickets yet but there is a lot of time for that!

Where is the party?

I am going and I am staying at the MGM.  Will be a great holiday for la chica yeah  cool.gif

I stayed at the MGM last year, it was very convenient for the show and a pretty decent hotel, casino was nice, staff was excellent.

Hey!

Wendy and I and my parents stayed at the MGM Grand for the "S&A" Tour.  It was fantastic!!!

I was thinking about booking at "The Hotel" but picked up a suite at the MGM instead.

We are only flying in for one night.  It totally sucks, but "it is what it is and whatever."

I will probably save a lot of money not gambling during a two night stay.

RUSH ON!

I've got my seats on hold at the box office but haven't booked a hotel yet.  I'm driving in the day of the show.  Where are you sitting?

Hahaha!!  I can't get that out of my head still!!!

I booked my flight and my room but I don't have my tickets yet!!
There is still plenty of time to hunt down some great seats!!!
I saved some of my tax refund for Rush tickets.
I do this every time Rush goes out on a tour!!!

Seeing Rush in Vegas, is like eating a bag of Fresh Lays Potatoe Chips!

"YOU CAN'T EAT JUST ONE"

Now, it's my excuse to go to Vegas. I was really bumbed when S&A's tour stopped twice in Vegas - Both Legs!

Besides The MGM Show, I want to see them at The Red Rocks!

They rescheduled on me, during the S&A tour, due to severe weather that was in KANSAS! Not Colorado!!! - I flew solo to Denver, and was Denied! DOH!

I must return for my "make up show" - The Red Rocks is just an insanely epic venue!!!

So it sounds like a few people have seen Rush in Vegas at the MGM. Can anyone give me an idea of what it's going to be like there? Stadium type, seating, going in to the venue kind of stuff.

And I heard (somewhere) the MGM casino likes to play Rush through the speakers during the day of the concert!

We'll be in Vegas for 9 days, so does anyone have any things that are a must see I should know about?

I believe the MGM Grand does play Rush- I don't quite remember if it was throughout the day but I know I heard a few songs piped throughout the casino biggrin.gif

I went last year and I had a ball. Go eat Dick's (Last Resort) for breakfast, go see a Cirque du Soleil show, visit the Hoover Dam (I never got to- planning to this year!), swim in the MGM Grand lazy river (if you stay there), take a helicopter ride around the strip, watch the Bellagio water show!

I'm still bummed that they picked Thanksgiving weekend to play Vegas sad.gif
Just about any other weekend and I'd be going to Sin City to see the boys again.

It is crazy that they are doing this on the Thanksgiving Holiday!
I'm glad that I can pull it off although hitting Vegas for only one night sucks!

I wanted to stay for three!

I know it was pretty much Rush playing in the casino all night after the two shows I've seen there.  1022.gif

Vegas is a great place to see Rush. Yes, MGM plays their music, and there are video screens promoting the show around the hotel. Seems like I saw the promo in the elevators about 100 times.

The MGM Grand Arena is a pretty good place to see a show. We had a fun meet-up at Wolfgang Puck's for the Time Machine tour.

I agree that you should check out a Cirque Du Soleil show while you're there. Ka plays at the MGM, and it is our favorite CDS presentation.

I am so envious of you guys this year. We've seen Rush in Vegas three times, and planned on going back, but the Thanskgiving date just screws it all up.

Have a great time!

Awesome, thanks for the heads up! Five months...now we play the waiting game.

I'm actually stoked to be going down for Thanksgiving. Hedonistic Thanksgiving Vegas buffet? Yes please. And that's open to anyone who wants to join.

Red Rocks= the most beautiful setting ever to play a concert in. I'm so lucky I get to see a majority of my concerts there.
