From what I understand it's supposed to be Monday the 7th at noon...but that is only from what I read in another thread here on TRF.

I tried for the first hour (on 4 computers to start and then just went to 2) and didn't even see a seat in the first 3 section or the middle 2 sections behind them....I'm giving up and just gonna wait.

I'm just gonna wait until tomarrow. I've always been able to get great seats off the Citibank presale.

I will pick up a pair of lawn seats this weekend. I am considering buying a ticket that's an isle seat closer to Geddy. That way I can go down there at any given time.  biggrin.gif  2.gif

Got two pairs today on MT.

Section 2 Row S (15th row dead center)

Section 5 Row E (about 20-23 rows back dead center)

I am sitting in the section 2 seats.

I may put up the section 5 seats for sale. I am asking some local Rush fans if they want first crack. I will sell them to a real Rush fan for face value plus the fees.

OK...I bit the bullet and got tickets through the Citibank presale.

Section 5

Row F

Seats 15 and 16.

About 25 rows back just Alex side of center. Would have liked closer but just went with what I could get...The light show should be awesome from these seats!!!

ranton.gif

Not once mind you, not a single time in the hours I spent on the regular presale and not once today did anything pop up in section 1, 2, or 3. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ALL ABOUT!!!???

This presale is a TOTAL scam in tampa...I blame the Hard Rock Casino right across the street. I'll bet they have a deal with the 1-800 Ask Gary (what the hell???!!!) amphitheater to scoop all the good seats to give to patrons and high rollers....Sure those seats will be made available some day to us common folks but not at pre sale.

Ever since this Live Nation crap has come around I have caught hell trying to get good seats for Tampa...Everywhere else; West palm, Jacksonville, Orlando, St. Pete I have been a fixture in the first 5 rows...But not Tampa...Only been in the front once there and that was when the place first opened on the R30 tour.

I don't know if anyone else had as hard a time or was as unsatisfied as I was about the whole thing...But trying to buy good seats for Tampa sucks...Hope they play West Palm on the second leg...I always have GREAT luck there...Of the 4 shows they've played there in the last 10 years I've been in the first 5 rows every time, front row twice!!!!

I hear you. Tampa is a tough tough ticket. Always. I don't want to piss you off. but after 45 minutes of trying the MT pre-sale I scored 2 tickets in section 2 Row S dead center. I also bought 2 section 5 row E tickets.

Anyway I got very very lucky. No doubt. I just kept at it.....it was tough. And I was doing this from 30K feet in the air.

Eiher way you have very good seats brother. I have sat there and you get a perfect view and the highest sonic quality from that spot.

Same like you I have great luck with West Palm, Sunrise, Orlando, Jacksonville. First 15 rows always.

The thing you have to remember about Tampa is those first 3 sections are pretty small, sections 1 and 3 only have 13 rows and section 2 only has 18 rows. If you figure that most of those are taken up by the VIP/Platinum sales, you did fine with the seats you got.

We got Section 6 (Ged's side) row J seats 24 and 25, not great but decent through the Citi Card presale, best tickets we've gotten in Tampa for  2.gif .

I am looking on the VIP nation website. Why does it say lawn seating is not available for this event? Does that just mean there are no seats? Or does it mean the lawn will be closed? confused13.gif

VIP Nation is only selling the tour packages, Lawn tickets will go on sale Saturday during the public sale on Ticketmaster.

This is correct. They just aren't on sale yet.

Good score whith the section 2's.

The show will be great from anywhere..I just have to complain about something it seems. laugh.gif
