It’s funny, I do enjoy the album but it always seems like it was a rushed response to the of the “Welcome to My Nightmare” album, tour and television special. It always reminds of the Pink Floyd lyrics, “We're just knocked out, We heard about the sell out, You gotta get an album out, You owe it to the people, We're so happy we can hardly count...” Poor Alice (Who was 28 at the time) was suffering from the pressure to top WTMN, exhaustion and alcoholism at the time.
