Yeah... I'm doin' this thang. yes.gif

I can't believe how beautiful this man was and is and I never even noticed! Thank you, GG, for introducing the face behind the genius to me.  smile.gif

I had the same reaction when watching a DVD with the hubs a few years back.  I spent my high school days swooning over Roger Waters *forehead slap*.  Not only is Roger not that good looking, he has not aged as well as David has.

The man has absolutely gorgeous eyes (and the rest of him ain't so bad, either).

I couldn't agree with you more about his gorgeous eyes:

Mr Gilmour has much to do with the great song writing on Snakes and Arrows apparently. As we know, Alex saw DG's concert in Toronto and got to meet him and have a musicians chat. Dave suggested songs be first written on acoustic then brought over to electric.

I wonder if this means S&A haters are not David Gilmour fans. confused13.gif

I always get mixed feelings when I see pics of the band as I regret not having gotten my arse in gear and seen them live, but also happy that they were together for as long as they were and gave us so many amazing albums.

TWO things to like about David Gilmour. Paul and Linda McCartney are the third.

Hint: NOT them smoking.

2nd hint: David Gilmour wearing a DALLAS COWBOYS t-shirt!  yes.gif

Gilmour can wrestle more out of one note than most can with a hundred. His playing is endlessly inspirational.

Bump.  AGREED!!!  I just finished watching the DVD 'Pulse' by Pink Floyd.  David Gilmour is amazing... I love his voice, the way he plays guitar, the slide guitar, etc.  Truly a wonderful talent.

Awesome Gilmour pics!  I have a lot of them on bootleg covers!  Couple I have never seen before too!  David Gilmour is the reason why I started playing guitar, saw the Pompeii video and Echoes blew my mind!  Then I got in Rush and lots of other prog bands and it's been a runaway train ever since!  The bootleg stuff is really where to hear bands at the most exciting and in depth for sure!  Cheers for posting some great pics!

I am testosterone through and through but I would consider David Gilmour (especially the youthful version) a pretty damn good looking dude to be sure..... :)

I didn't know this thread existed, but I can see why it does... even here. You know Roger Waters fought with Gilmour at least partially for this reason.

EDIT: Don't worry, a lot of straight guys feel the same way about Young Gilmour. Perfectly normal.

There are TONS of fan-made videos of Gilmour. Search for "david gilmour hot" and you'll see quite the list.

Interesting, I hadn't heard that.  I hated S&A, loved Gilmour's later Pink Floyd work but did not care for his newest album much which came out around the time S&A did.  I would advise everyone in this thread to check out the Remember That Night bluray though.  Sonic perfection and the ladies can see Gilmour in full HD!  If he goes on tour again, I need to go!
