This turned out to be the perfect film title on a day when the Saints got trashed by the Cowboys. :eyeroll:

The film itself? Nothing special. In fact it was crap. Most of the dialogue and quite a few scenes didn't makes sense and I can't see how this was a comedy it was just an action film by numbers.

I've seen it quite a few times, as a no-brain-needed action flick it's good for me. Also, Captain America is in it, and has the best scenes, from the rape dinosaurs at the beginning to the pink Tee to the telekinetic shooting...

Korean martial arts flick with arrows instead of swords. The hero is totally lacking charisma, while the bad guys are almost symphatetic at the end. Some crazy action sequence, as expected, and arrows defying the laws of physics. All in all, not bad but I won't watch this again...

Oldman excellent. See why he got an Oscar nomination. But geezus, what a painfully slow and confusing movie....

Try watching the Alec Guinness mini series version...which is about four times longer...and even slower....but still made up for with great acting

I just didn't get it at all. I mean that exchange between Evans and Zoe where he was trying to chat her up and she ended up saying she liked collecting ears. That was supposed to be funny but it was just awkward and nonsensical. The bad guy repeating he needed an 18 man fire team in 12 hours, you knew that was supposed to be funny but it wasn't it was just a bad script. The whole thing was just a rip-off of the A-Team film only it was even worse. And this collection of actors led by Jefferey Dean Morgan had no chemistry and no charisma. Chris Evans needs the Captain America outfit or the Fantastic Four outfit to give him some presence. The others were practically anonymous, only Zoe caught the eye because she was hot, but hot girls in a movie, that's expected. The whole thing was unconvincing and not funny if that's what it was supposed to be and the bad guy was lightweight. It was like amateur hour.

A Japanise take on the topic of "switched at birth". Father on the left is rich, workaholic, smitten, a moron. Father on the right runs a shop, is great with kids and looks like a hippy. Their kids got switched. How will it end? Luckily, it's more about moron-father finding his way out of his a$$. A bit long and slow, but ok.

This was pretty good.

Sh*t, I'd like to watch this but there's freaking Farrell in it...

He's ok in it. I didn't used to like him either but over the course of about a dozen or so films like In Bruges, Triage and even the Total Recall and Fright Night remakes he's grown on me a bit.

Same here. Used to hate him until In Bruges. Sort of like how Affleck and McConaughey have gone from hated to respected lately with their better choice of roles.

Mr. Freeze: The Iceman cometh! Bill Corbett [as Freeze]: The audience goeth! :rfl:

Seriously, this is the first time I've seen it since I was 16 when it came out. I'm a lot older and wiser which means I definitely don't like it this time. Man, this movie is a terrible trainwreck!

I still don't like Affleck and McConaughey. And those new car ads with McConaughey are making it worse! "They say you can't go back...well yes you can..." I wish he would go back!
