Saw them twice on the last tour but unfortunately, Alpenglow wasn't played either time.

But I did get to see them do Bless The Child, so I win :chickendance:

I got to see The Greatest Show On Earth and While Your Lips Are Still Red...in one night...in full...

I WIN

I've seen While Your Lips Are Still Red twice. On the DPP tour and earlier this year. Would prefer if Marco stuck with The Islander actually.

Oh yeah, got to see them do The Poet & The Pendulum twice on the DPP tour.

I saw Poet in full as well...

Soooooo...boast what ya want my night was amazeballs!

BE JELLY!!!

Hehehehehehehe

Ah crap!

I forgot Poet was played at Wembley. Seeing Floor do that song tops any and all Nightwish live experiences.

YOU WIN!

As for Annette live, the first time I saw her was early on the DPP tour. She did a better job than I expected but obviously songs they did like She Is My Sin, Wishmaster and Sleeping Sun were well out of her vocal range. She did do a good job on Slaying The Dreamer, Ever Dream and the stuff off Once though. The next time I saw them on that tour she was way more comfortable as a front woman for the band but still some songs were just out of her vocal range.

They smartened up on the Imaginaerum tour by only playing stuff off Once, DPP and the new album to cater more to Annette's voice. That show was easily the best performance from Annette out of the three times I saw her. She grew so much as a live performer by that point. Her evolution over the years when it came to that was a really nice thing to see.

A week after that show, she was gone and Floor was in. That happened fast

I love Anette though. She is working on an album with...I think...an ex Sonata Arctica guitarist (I'm tinkling and my memories are hazy)

I finally listened and saw carefully Floor singing on YouTube, live and on studio.

She did great work!

I think only now I'm ready to get into their new sound.

'Vehicle Of The Spirit' is on charts since the beginning of the year. :)

Floor is an amazing singer and charismatic front woman. There is no doubt in my mind that she is the singer Nightwish was always meant to have.

Her name is Floor?

She sounds more like the basement to me.

Nightwish is a daydream of cheese fake neu metal crap. More like swiss cheese. More holes than a red neck's Texas Tee Shirt.

Humans on here rip Malmsteen. Haha! Yet listen to weak generic goddess tin foil metal.

To each their own!

ENJOY IT!

Earl, you have made it clear before on here that you don't like this band.

WE GET IT

MOVE ON ALREADY

Nobody in this thread was mocking anything that you like. Completely uncalled for to come here and talk shit for no reason. Don't like them? Stay out of the thread.

Earl, I have no idea what you gain provoking other people's thoughts or reactions against you.

If you're trying to be fun, just know that you're *extremely childish* trying to be better than anyone else here.

I always respected your "music taste". I loved to see you play.

But it doesn't mean you're always right as you think.

And *it isn't the first time* I see you fighting people for stupid reasons when actually people like you here.

I'd like to say more here, but the thread isn't appropriate.

If you disrespect me, you'll get back what you've done to me.

And no, I'm Not Leaving TRF because of you. Neither because I'm poor and went to less concerts.

I will stay, so you better get used to what I like, love and will do!

"I am perfectly sane!"

I apologize if I upset you. I love pushing Myles buttons. He is a little arrogant turd who thinks he is better than everyone else on this forum so I know how to play his game.

I was merely pushing the little boy's buttons.

It's easier to do than my ex-wife's. That says a lot!

I know I can go to far on here and I get it.

But why does everyone need to attack me for my opinion? Who cares!!

I have to the right to rip bands on an open forum if I can't stand them.

People are on here all the time slamming RUSH yet it's a Rush Forum!!

If you love Nightwish and Coli and EPICA GOOD FOR YOU!

It's your right and your choice!

I am happy for you!!

I love White Lion, Poison, Motley Crue, and tons of Hair Metal. People on here have been teasing me and ripping me apart for over 11 years on here.

LOL!

WHO CARES!

Humans who post in social media and on open public forums need to grow some thick skin in order to survive and thrive!!

i'm just one dude out of billions. I am nothing.

Enjoy your EMO FEMALE FRONT WOMAN THREE CHORD POP METAL!

ALL GOOD!!!!

I guess I will still be labeled a drug addict and an insane dick on here for my views.

Perhaps I did have a "Misplaced Childhood!"

:rose:

Hahaha! I was being sarcastic Verena. That's how I roll on here.

I had one of the greatest childhoods on the Earth. I lived on Shady Lane for 14 years for God's Sake. My mom and dad are the greatest parents ever!!

Never had any drama when I was a kid. I was very lucky!

I just had a Memorial BBQ with my awesome family last night!! My mom and dad have been married for 55 years! That's how real people respect marriage!

Not in todays fukked up society. Divorce is like a plague.

The millennials will destroy this planet and Myles is one of them. Generation Y. That's why there is a Y in mYles. He is part of the problem. He is the prime example of this "Generation Swine." That's a terrible Motley Crue album by the way!!! Boys like Myles are those who have no culture. No parenting. No class. People like Myles want everything now. They want everything free and don't want to work hard for it. Myles The Millennial. Says it all really. A shallow, scared, sad, depressed little boy trying to puff out his con-caved chest on a music forum to try and fit in.

Sorry Generation mYles. YOU DON'T FIT IN.

GET OUT OF HERE NOW!

I have alerted 73 about your vulgar attack on me.

I refuse to put up with this crap anymore.

Oh yeah baby cakes, I can dish it out and I will win the war even if I do lose a few battles.

For once I am being proactive and taking the high road here.

You will pay Generation mYles.

I have no fear for morons on this Forum or on this Earth.

I have an idea. Maybe both of you should stay out of each others threads. At this point I have no idea to what extent you guys visit and post in each others threads, but that doesn't matter. Let's erase the past. From now on, you both should just ignore each other. I think it's a really good idea and I strongly suggest you both go with it. Very strongly. :)

73, I chose to slow down how much I come to this forum for a while. In the on/off thread I explained.

Also I tend to ignore the guy. He admitted in one of the threads about Moving Pictures that he likes to intentionally push my buttons and has for the last year mocked me continuously throughout this forum.

I chose to ignore it up until I had a really bad moment in my private life and allowed that anger to filter through onto this forum.

Which is why I'm backing off for a while.

But yeah he has been unkind for a very long time but I am normally able to cope with it and not waste your time by reporting it.

I'm curious about the compilation. I would sort of like to hear some studio versions of old classics with Floor.

The Poet And The Pendulum

Nemo

Ghost Love Score

The Escapist

Ever Dream

Just a few to start!

My brother texted me about the show here this morning. I thought it was a joke at first and was double and triple checking places because I didn't know they had touring plans at all. The last I knew they were taking a long time off after the most recent tour. I also figured with Floor being a new mom they wouldn't be on the road for another few years. Not that i'm complaining that i'll get to see them again and this is the second tour in a row they're playing my area. So, hopefully this region is a regular stop for them from now on.

From what I've read...2017 was a year off and 2018 was always intended to be celebratory. I'm very happy! Sure, I would like a new album but I can wait. We had a four year gap between DPP and Imaginaerum after all.

Got tickets for my friend and I for March 23rd of next year. I don't even plan out what i'm gonna do tomorrow too far in advance and these guys are booking world tours nine months from now

They're actually mailing me real tickets as well! I am overjoyed by this since that seems to be happening less and less these days. Most of my recent ticket purchases only giving the option to send a "mobile ticket" to your phone. Those aren't souvenirs from the show dammit.

Looking forward to what rarities will get played on the tour. If they do Beauty Of The Beast I will need to bring a change of underwear.
