New World Kid Posted December 31, 2011 Share Posted December 31, 2011 So I gave My Little Pony a shot, after a friend of mine (who, in the interest of full disclosure, I maybe sorta kinda wanted to go out with) suggested it to me. And you know, it was actually a really enjoyable experience. The show is well written, well animated, with good characterization. It isn't overly girly at all. The phenomena reminds me a lot of how SpongeBob caught on in the early 2000's, only with My Little Pony, I think there's a comedy element, along with a pretty good message underlying the whole show.
