Plus, he didn't say he was moving away from "heavy" music...so it's all good.

Hi folks, some clarification, at least what I know (while I'd love to control every aspect of everything, I just can't!) : The deluxe edition is limited to 5,000 copies worldwide. Exclusive to the deluxe is of course the 120 book itself, and the bonus CD (though 3 of the pieces from the bonus CD also appear as extras on the blu-ray). The blu-ray disc / 5.1 mix will only play on a blu-ray player, no DVD version this time. I believe blu-ray will soon become standard for high res audio releases, and probably movies too - players can now be picked up for as little as £50 and note that you can play your regular DVDs on a blu-ray player too. A standalone blu-ray will be available too (not sure why no pre-order for that one). I think you can cancel your order for the deluxe if you just prefer the blu-ray - we can certainly use them if you prefer not to have one, it's selling pretty fast. I don't know what's going on with the high price of ordering from the local mail order companies, the whole idea was to try to make it cheaper for everyone, but I'm guessing the problem is still the cost of getting the copies out to them from the UK, even in bulk. Kinda frustrating (so here is a picture if me looking suitably grumpy). Anyway, looking into that. The double vinyl will include a drop card allowing you to download the album, but I don't know if that's lossless or compressed mp3. So a few things I need to clarify with the label - hopefully more info in a few days....
Well I checked out the pre-order from Newbury Comics just now, and the total as of now is cheaper than Burning Shed's by $2...originally it was something like $118 or close to that amount.

Great interview with Steven on Grace For Drowning. I found the concept of the title interesting.

Awesome interview. I don't think I've ever been more excited to hear an album, as I am to hear GFD. Plus, Heartattack In A Layby is easily one of my favorite PT songs, so it was cool to see a question about it.

Here's an interview from PT fan site StarsDie.com where Steven answers some fan questions....I sent a question, but it wasn't chosen, but these questions answered were really good ones though.

i just hope this album isn't to artsy fartsy. don't want to hear sound track stuff. don't want him to try to pull off jazz stuff with jazz musicians. gary husband is going on tour with him. that should be fun. try holding that guy back behind the drum kit. gavin is great but gary is just incredible.
I think you will be disappointed. He said there's going to be a mix of everything, including jazz and soundtrack-like stuff.
Also, isn't Gary Husband playing keys? I know that he plays both drums and keys, but Steven said that Marco Minneman will be playing drums on the tour.

From his Facebook: "This Tuesday (16th August) I'll be appearing on New York radio station WNYC, on the show Soundcheck. Included will be an interview and some exclusive music from Grace For Drowning. If you would like to listen it starts at 2:30pm Eastern Time. You can listen to WNYC’s simulcast online at http://www.wnyc.org/, or, if you’re in New York, on terrestrial radio at 93.9 FM." Also, I just pre-ordered the album today. September can't come fast enough!
The interview was decent. He played Postcard solo on the piano. That track is f***ing amazing!
There's also a free download/stream of a radio edit version of Like Dust I Have Cleared From My Eye here: http://starsdie.com/wp/stream-and-download...ed-from-my-eye/
Its a good track, but I wish he released the full version.
