fists crying.gif I have never had the chance to see them live. I missed out on the possibility of seeing them during RTB and T4E without ever learning the tour dates until afterward. I SOOOOO wanted to go to R30 at the White River Ampitheater, but I had no money. I never checked, but I'm pretty sure tickets were sold out anyway. fists crying.gif

The sad thing is I really don't know. I started going on HYF or PW tour, but the 80's and early 90's are kinda blurry for me smile.gif

WOW Slacker!! You got me beat. But not by much.

I've seen them 31 times:

1st show - Radio City Music Hall Sept 23 1983

31st show - Radio City Music Hall Aug 19 2004

Now ain't that poetic.

Zero. I passed up the opportunity to see them on the 30th anniversary tour. I just had a sinking feeling that it would be a typical big rock concert, with the requisite giant gulf between band & audience - total detachment and no sense of intimacy.

It was just the opposite, IMO. Fantastic shows!

Zero Times

Could have won tickets to R30 Toronto from a radio station by cannonballing into Lake Ontario, but I had a chemistry summer school exam (and I wasent to keen on jumping into that lake, right near the water treatments plant too). That was my only shot. Next time

The R30 show at Dallas was show #18 for me. My second with my son after his first concert ever being 2.gif during the VT tour. Oh well, gotta get them started out right!

Well, I've got a funny little story in this topic. Last year, my awesome uncle came all the way to Upstate New York for the summer concert series (he's from Oregon). He came to see Phish, Grateful Dead, and Dave Matthews, which I went to as well. Then, the week he was leaving, he goes, "Hey, did you know Rush is playing?" and I go, "Who?" And he goes, "Wait, you don't know Rush? You know, Tom Sawyer, The Spirit of Radio, nothing?" "Oh, Tom Sawyer, that chick singer, right?" Long story short, my aunt has some *ahem* connections, and we got amazing seats. Day after the concert, I had 2112, Moving Pictures, Hold Your Fire, Roll The Bones, Vapor Trails, and Rush In Rio DVD and CD.

So yea, just the one!!! biggrin.gif 2.gif common001.gif
