i really like The Analog Kid because, as it was a "synth era song" it still had the kindof Rush i love which is guitar, bass, keboards, and drums and i guess it just had the same rush element i have grown to adore

Afterimage for me, the Grace album travelled with me through a part of my life that was a little dark and it kept me going, still brings a lump to my throat hearing that track, have a soft spot for Kid Gloves as well.

Finally. Afterimage is ridiculously underated. GUP is way more classier than Signals, great producer as well.

Well, between Subdivisions, The Analog Kid, and Marathon, it's hard to choose. I voted Marathon, but ask me again tomorrow and I'm sure I'll have changed my mind.

I was there, I got the 12 inch single in the September, the album was out a couple of weeks later. I was 15 in 1982. :hail:

"Where were you in '82?"

This summer, Michael Bay brings you American Graffiti 2

Wow, what a list, so many classics.

For me it's Marathon, I think the Keyboards, Bass, Guitar, Drums, Lyrics, Vocals, Production are just brilliant. Classic. One of my top 5 Rush tracks, just love it.

Subdivisions is an all-time classic. But, I went with Between the Wheels. Favorite guitar solo, Neil crushes the china during the chorus, and the lyrics have really been resonating lately.... in particular:

We can go from boom to bust

From dreams to a bowl of dust

We can fall from rockets' red glare

Down to brother can you spare

Another war

Another waste land

And another lost generation

Some people misinterpret "Waste land" as a grammatical error - but it is supposed to be two words. It's a literary reference to the T.S. Eliot poem "The Waste Land" which is intended to be two words.

Sadly?!?!?! Would you like to trade? I'd be more than happy to be 20 again. I'll take all the sadness of being 20 for you. Where do I sign up?
