madra sneachta
So, what 2005 purchase has been the most worthy so far? For me, it's a toss up between Arcade Fire's "Funeral" and Kaiser Chief's "Employment". I think the ' Chiefs have it by a short head!
PuppetKing2112
So far, the Mars Volta's Frances the Mute takes my vote, but that will change probably in a week, when the new Nine Inch Nails album comes out.
kazzman
Right now, for me it's Kamelot's "The Black Halo." Might change when I pick up the NIN album, might not.

I've heard 5 songs so far, and it sounds fantastic. Yes, I KNOW I can stream the whole album on MySpace, but I want SOMETHING to be surprised about. Best studio albums are "The Downward Spiral" and "The Fragile." You may yet become a fan.

progrush2112
I just picked up Mudvayne's new one, which rocks! So far Judas Priest -- Angel of Retribution gets my vote. Patiently (NOT!) awaiting the arrival of Dream Theater's "Octovarium." Looking forward to new one's from: Staind, Symphony X, Stratovarius, 311, and Opeth. All of which will probably tie with each other. And we can't forget the triumphant return of the Backstreet Boys! ( )
Steel Rat
Orchestral rock is so powerful... Thanks, Kazz for the tunes! I, too, am going with Kamelot, the Black Halo.
