I'm sure we've typed about this incredible disc in the past but I'm not sure it was ever polled. I think this record deserves a poll. It's one of the greatest records on the Earth.

Great choice Earl!! I first had it on 8-track (god am I old ) and vinyl. I love the rock from the 70's, some really great bands from back in the day.

Yup. Van Halen modeled the first album after Montrose. Ted templeman producing. Hot shot guitarist. Crazy frontman. It's all there.

 

Solid early 70s Hard Rock album. Still sounds great.

Been listening to this since I first bought it on 8-track when it came out my sophomore year in high school in late '73. I have never grown tired of it. To me that's a pretty convincing argument for a "classic" or "epic" if you prefer.

Excellent record. One of those where every song is good. Pretty good production for the era also. Tesla did some good covers from that record
