Okay, whoever gets the answer gets to ask the next question.

 

Here's one of my old favorite questions:

 

Who was the first batter to get 100 hits from each side of the plate in a single season?

Willie Wilson from the KC Royals? That's the only one I can think of as I really followed baseball in this particular time-frame. It probably happened much much earlier.

This has got be Carl Yaztremski, right? I do believe he played his whole career with Boston. I have his Topps card from 1980 collection stashed somewhere (the only complete set I have). Oh, except for Rickey Henderson rookie card! Dumb me traded it eons ago. Yikes!

Yaz did indeed play his entire career in Beantown but longer than 22 years...23 i think...he won 3 batting titles but was 24 when he won first...way older than youngest smile.gif
