Haven't made a scratch Detroit style pizza in months, will do one today.  The dough is in the pan doing the second rise, so it will be a couple of hours.  A real loaded one this time; pepperoni, Italian sausage, mortadella, green pepper, mushrooms.  Sliced mozzarella and sauce on top.

Only ok, not my best.  Tried Rao's pizza sauce, which was a little too acidic for my taste.  Also, didn't use enough pepperoni for my own personal taste, thinking the other meats would complement, and they didn't.  I'll see again when I try the leftovers!

Have you ever tried Bertoli's Rustic Sauces?  Or Pioneer Woman?  I mix the two together, fry up ground Italian Sausage. bake some pork meatballs and throw them in, use a ton of garlic, ground up some Italian seasoning, two teaspoons of salt and one of sugar - it's so very good.

Did you buy it or make your own?  If you made your own, what kind of turkey did you use and bread?

Also, did you put any mayo or stuff on it?

Haven't seen either of the two here.  I used the Rao's because nobody was stocking my old standby, Del Fratelli, which is sweet and spicy enough without any additives.  The leftover pizza was only as good as the original, so back to the drawing board.
