Hey Envirotech, I saw you in the second row all night.  How did you pull that off, you sly devil?!

Nice ticket story too.

Thanks, it was certainly worth the hassle of waiting and clicking all day. I was laughing so hard. He was just mentioning, "check pairs, check pairs" and the next pair that comes up after hitting 45 thru 31st rows for hours was 2nd row.

Man, love the detail on the kit in the last Neil pic thebigguyconnor, great capture!

Yeah I didn't see much hubub with security from where I was way up front there. Although Cell was filming Freewill and another song in the 2nd act. I thought the security lady at the end of front row was going to come thru and smack him despite my best covering up attempts.  Also, when we first got in and getting closer to the stage, some lady had her camera out and I clearly heard "...can we take pictures" usher: "no, no pictures what so ever tonight." which was weird cause the signs on all the doors said 'no professional cameras, video, audio recorders.'

TY about the neil pic - All my pics from the first half of the show are terrible.  I turned up the shutter speed for the second half and most o the pics turned out pretty good.

I didnt notice even ONE single security guy where I was.

Down dead center on the floors, did you guys deal with the black security guard with the dreads?  He caught on to me and luckily near the end he let me take a good 2 minutes shooting before he said "alright that's enough".

Thanked him big time for that one.

Thanks for all of the pics ... I was wondering what the show looked like from that angle.  sad.gif

Of course, that just makes it that much worse that I was side stage.
But seriously, thanks very, very much.
Incredible shots of an incredible show!

Awesome time last night eh Barney!  It was great meeting up with old friends and seeing another fantastic Rush show.

My seat was particularily cool this time, right beside the stage on Alex's side and six rows up.  I got to watch Alex warming up his fingers beside the stage while the intro videos were playing, then had a great view of what the guitar tech was doing all night with the guitar tuning and switching out, etc.  Still had a great view of the stage and the screen also.  Not a great view of Neil though, except when the kit spun around for the middle section of the drum solo.  As an aside, I though his drum solo was waaaaay better this time than last year, just awesome!

The crowd in the stands were pretty laid back and sat much of the time, but we were right over at the side and the group in my area were on our feet for most of the night.

I saw Praetorian take Farid and Rushgirl backstage separately for a few minutes each during the show, so I'll have to get the full story on that!

Hey, I thought I saw you up there on Alex's side.  Were you wearing a red Canada sweater?  I think I would like to see a show from that angle once.  I was on the floors like usual.

Btw, I'm Gornicevo from RTF.

A good one too, but the stereo field is really really narrow for some reason.  I thought it was mono but it's a tiny bit wider than mono.

I shouldn't nitpick tongue.gif
It's a great sounding boot and I enjoy having a recording of my concert !!!
