As far as sound is concerned, of course Radio City has better sound, but if you can manage to be in the 200s or lower (the lower the better...Loge is best) you'll be pleased with the sound this arena offers.

So, you're saying that my second row, Geddy's side seat should have good sound? http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

I am SO FREAKING STOKED!!

*ahem* that is all... http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/blush4.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Rushchick10,

The first few rows can be a bit sketchy soundwise, as the speakers are sometimes elevated just behind you.

But I do know from your posts that you'll be quite content with the view! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

Congrats on your great seats and looking forward to meeting you and the rest of our Rush brothers and sisters at Stout.

~Cheers, RGLT

Yeah, when you get that close at just about any venue the sound has the potential to be bad, or at least not as good as the rest of the venue. But, getting seats like that, it's all about the whole experience. I have seen Rush plenty of times and have had them sound amazing. But, for this small town girl from Idaho, getting second row tickets at Madison Square Garden is like having a dream I never knew I had come true! Even better that it is a Rush show! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/1022.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/1022.gif

yeah that's been a dream of mine for YEARS and it's never come true. Well...it almost did once. But that's another story.

I'm waiting for the tickets to go on sale on Friday. I don't have a Citi card, and the fan club presale tix were a little too steep for my budget. I was tempted though http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

I'm not so concerned about where my seats are. I just want to attend the TRF gathering and be able to hear the music well enough at the show.

This is shaping up to be a day of epic proportions!

I'm in section 347...get seats there! Not quite nosebleed, but close. LOL

I've already seen RUSH from 7th row in the Garden. So, I'm good where we're at...our view is outstanding. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

I got my ticket - about 1/2 way back on the floor.

Jamie - Can't wait to meet you!

Rob & Jen - How are you getting into the city? Driving to CT and taking Metro North in? Maybe we can meet up and head in together - I'm sort of on your way down.

Can't wait to see everyone at Stout before the show!
