Definitely metal detectors and a proper pat down...it is MSG and it is NYC afterall. MSG security can be highly varied, just like a lot of other venues I've gotten a pat down there in the past, but last summer I went to see Iron Maiden there and they didn't even look at anyone. I could have practically brought anything in there. They took the tickets and i went in. basically no security. So...if you bring something like the recorder you might be able to get in in with no trouble, but if you get the wrong security person you might loose it. Always a gamble Once inside, everything changes. the security is usually pretty tight at the show. i've seen them drag people out, even at rush shows. good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
