Hi

as I am the lone ranger amongst my friends who is prepared to pay 80 for row E block B seat 1 at the LG I'm on me todd.. !!!! ... would rather meet up before hand with like minded Rush fanatics, driving from Sussex!!!
Missed Rush in Brighton in 1981 doing MP and never forgiven myself so it's a must attend at all costs.

Hope to see someone!!

Same here, we are in Block 2 as well   trink39.gif  3 of us are travelling up from Cardiff and will be staying overnight at the nearby Holiday Inn. Will probably be in the Little Owl pub next door during the afternoon  trink38.gif

The Little Owl

This is the nearest pub to the NEC and as such will be very busy, however, as it is a Sunday if you want to meet up in there and fill the place with Rush nerds, then lets make it happen ..

It willl happen anyway

I will take an A4 piece of paper with the letters TRF on them and tack it up somewhere for all to see - just come across and say "Hi"

The Post Code is B40 1QA

And their Website is Little Owl

If you are definately coming drop me a PM so I know to be there

Stu

The diagram thing for Brum shows the blocks as very long and thin. Anyway who has been to the venue before, able to give me a rough idea...?

Sorry never been to the LG before.

Its not usualy like that - if you search in Goggle for NEC Seating Plan you will see. I'm guessing it is just a way of making fans excited at being in Block A, but Row ZZZ.

I do hope not

Beats me why they can't open it up for Standing and make it a 'real' gig - fight for your right to par-tay !!

The flat floor is usually a 3 x 3 grid, so A, B, C then D, E, F you get the idea.

However, come 22nd May we will find out !!

Aaaah yes I see. Thanks for the info! In that case yeah I'll be right at the back of Block A on Alex's side. Please no one over 5ft 4'' get a seat infront me of, thanks!

Yeah I was really hoping, although not really expecting, at least one of the gigs to be standing. Would love to be in more control of how close I could get to the stage. Plus doesn't having a standing option mean in theory, more people could be got in, thus tickets could be a tad cheaper...?

Or am I being too naiive?  tongue.gif

Still roll on May!  2.gif

I'm in 15 (on the side) Row 5 - so I wil be lording it over you    tongue.gif

Thats very naive - they'd keep the price the same but ram more people in

Its a band / safety issue I believe - and they don't need the money
