Copperwind
Terry Browns Solid Gold Album for Charity Auction Support a good cause. Its the land mark "Caress of Steel" certified gold album by the band RUSH. This item is donated by RUSH Producer Terry Brown and is being auctioned on Ebay to help a local Toronto musician who was in a very serious car accident. He makes his living from playing and teaching music. The accident drastically changed his life. All proceeds from this auction will go to supporting this local musician and his family in this difficult time. This album is a major landmark in the evolution of RUSH, as its lack of "commercial" response, created a determination in the band "to go down fighting rather then give in and be something they didnt want to be" and resist pressures to conform to current trends by the industry. It gave birth to the album "2112", also a landmark as its success bought the band their final artistic independence. This record represents a truly pivotal period for RUSH and the power of true fans. Songs include: "Bastille Day, Lakeside Park, Necromancer - i. Into the Darkness, ii. Under the Shadow, iii. Return of the Prince - I think I am Going Bald" This Gold Record Commemorates the Sale of over 50,000 units certified Gold by the Canadian Recording Industry Association.
