rushstarboy37
So far I have Rush in Rio and Exit... Stage Left I was wondering which Album I should get next I'm pretty sure most of you are going to say different stages. But other than that what should i get next? all the worlds a stage or a show of hands?
troutman
For sure... ATWAS. that was the begining as far as the live recordings go. Get it, and then by the rest. You want to here the "early stuff". Just my opinion!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v719/troutbum/a4231.gif troutman

Arndrake
I would say it depends on which era you like. If you like the early work, go with ATWAS. If you like the 80s synth sound, go with ASOH. I love ASOH, but I am also partial to the 80s era sound. I've had difficulty getting into the early work and have not heard ATWAS.

By-tor69
Definately ALL THE WORLDS A STAGE next. It captures 's early, more raw sound perfectly. I couldn't live without it.

defrushfan01
If you want a boot from that era, look for Black Forest in Different Stages page of this forum. not to mention Cignus X-1 Book 1 and Cignus X-1 Book 2 both in their entirity. which is wicked cool! kazzman
Different Stages. The only official release by the boys that has 2112 in it's entirety live. Same goes with Cygnus X-1 and a few others from AFTK previously unrleased.

Or, see if you can get ATWAS and DS both used. Maybe that way they will both be the same price as buying one of them new. I was lucky and found my copy of Different Stages at a record store for $8 used. Don't know what's around your neck of the woods, but give it a shot. Good luck!
