I just like the show for the music. And Charlie / DeVito are very fun too. On the flip side, Dennis and Dee are irritating.

Dennis and Dee are both funny as hell. Don't take what they say or do seriously at all and you'll realise how halarious they both are. Escepically Dee.

Anyone been watching the current season?  I think it's the best they've done in a few years.

Yeah, this season has been pretty good. I really liked the last episode, there really isn't anything they won't do on this show and that's a big reason why I love it so much. They're renewed up through season 12, so we at least have two more years of this insanely fun craziness to look forward to. I love how each season is only about 10 or 12 episodes. There's less room for error and it allows them to make each episode the best it can be. That also helps in not getting too burned out on the show and helps its longevity.

I agree.  Same reason I'm a huge South Park fan.  Literally everything is on the table.  I think that's important for creativity, to be honest.  I was watching the movie Airplane the other night and thinking how there is no way that film could get made today(same can be said for Blazing Saddles).  Always Sunny and South park are probably the closest we can get to that.

This season's been great. My favorite episode so far was the one with man-cheetah Frank, Charlie and Dee's Def Poetry (super def), and "party boy" Mac in that f***ing mesh shirt.

I'm 3 seasons in so far.  Gonna get back into it once I'm done with Futurama on Netflix.  Saw their recent interview on Conan.  It was hilarious seeing DeVito accidentally curse on TBS.

:bump:

Been watching through this show again recently. I'm gonna start up season 9 today. I stand by what I said before in this thread about season six being the one that was really off. Good writing and acting but there weren't as many funny moments as other seasons. Show has maintained consistent quality after 11 seasons which is a big accomplishment.

The show has been renewed up through season 14 :o

At least three more seasons of this insanity!

Me too.

I'm still concerned about how they'll keep it a quality show now that it's so late in its run.

Seems like nobody else cares about Sunny anymore, least of all here in the UK, but Season 14 is awesome :notworthy:

The show has just been on for way too long now. The hype for it died off many years ago. I enjoyed the newest season but even as a long time fan, I think the show has more than run its course at this point.

I thought Season 12 and 13 (particularly) were pretty hard work, not many laughs.  14 delivered proper Sunny set-ups, a lot of great Frank moments and there`s still enough life in it for me.  I`d have liked it if Kaitlin`s "The Mick" to have been renewed as I loved that and I`m struggling to find new comedies.

Struggling to find new comedies? Have you seen The Good Place, Brooklyn 99 or Superstore?

The Mick was OK. Kaitlyn was pretty much playing a different version of Dee. I can just watch Sunny if I want to see that character.

The first five seasons are as good as it gets. I'm surprised it's still on the air though. Live action shows never make it this long.
