You know it's a Packer-Bear game when Aaron Rodgers, once again, breaks the hearts of the Chicago faithful.

 

Comfortably ahead, and then tied, and then facing incredible odds, Rodgers and the Green & Gold do it AGAIN. A 60-yard last-second BOMB to Jordy Nelson set up the game-winning field goal by Mason Crosby as time expired.

It was the Aaron Rodgers & Jordy Nelson Show today at Lambeau Field. This thrilling performance by the two masters of their craft was the highlight of a solid victory over their arch-rival Vikings. In the 1st half, Rodgers & Nelson were virtually unstoppable. The Vikings usually stout defense took away the Packers' running game, but they were no match for Nelson, Davante Adams, Jared Cook and the rest of the Packer receiving corps.

Also starring in the show was a much healthier Clay Matthews, whose relentless pass rush made Sam Bradford's day very long and painful. The Packer defense is still struggling, though, as the Vikings' offense didn't back down at all. Turnovers killed the Vikings hopes to stay with the Packers on the scoreboard, and the game was put out of reach by the 4th quarter.

Ultimately, it was Aaron Rodgers who amazed the Vikings and everyone else with his virtuoso performance - throwing for four TD's and running for another. He certainly is the Packers' Most Valuable Player......

Running the table has never been so SWEET.

 

Aaron Rodgers has never played better than he is right now. His offense is 2nd to none, he's getting solid pass protection, and he has recovered from his hamstring and calf injuries. He is absolutely in The Zone.

 

The injury-riddled defense stymied the Lions' potent offense just enough to keep the game under control. Some very clutch plays in the second half made the difference.

 

Next Up: A new Table has been set! Four games to go, starting with the arch-enemy NY Giants at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon. The Packers remember '07 and '11 very well, so they will be ready for some cold revenge!!

This was by far the greatest sporting event I have ever witnessed. It was worth every penny I spent going to the game and back. Watching the Packers avenge themselves on the Giants in the playoffs was an honor and privilege. We were immensely worried early in the game, but our faith was rewarded with some of the best Packer football ever played at the Frozen Tundra.

 

Aaron Rodgers......what else can one say about him? When he's in The Zone, he can decimate any defense. He's The Greatest.

The Cowboys will be a different story than the New York Football Giants. Rodgers is the better QB (for now) but I think the Cowboys are the better team. But, the best team doesn't always win.

Beating Dallas is a huge challenge, especially now that Jordy Nelson is out with broken ribs (and other internal injuries). There is a chance that he may play, but I'd say it's very doubtful.

 

They must contain Elliott and at least pressure Prescott. Gotta get him out of synch. They can do it, but will they?

Congrats! But my boys are in a very good spot. The Giants beat people up and so do the Seahawks. Nelson really shouldn't play for his own good and the good of the Pack going forward. I've changed my mind about the MVP too- Rodgers deserves it. I mean holy shit guys he's the whole friggin' team!!

 

Rodgers is the greatest, but he is definitely not the whole team. He would be nothing without his very good supporting cast on offense. The Packer wide receivers are required to play at every position on the field....even in the backfield. They've caught a zillion balls that were not exactly on target. They frequently practice the "scramble drill", in which Rodgers scrambles out of the pocket and looks for the open man. His linemen consistently give him time to throw as well as lanes to escape if need be. Right now, they are a well-oiled machine. :haz:
