If are registered for RushCon, you may cast your ballot beginning Monday April 18. Audio clips from the top three contenders for this years Tribute Band will be available on our website beginning Monday. Listen and cast your vote. One vote per registered member only. Voting is open from April 18 through May 24th. See our site for details at: www.rushcon.org Remember, only REGISTERED members of RushCon 5 are allowed to vote... so if you haven't done so, register today! An added bonus-- if you register for RushCon by May 1st, not only can you vote for your favorite band, but you are automatically entered into our "Ghost of Chance" sweepstakes to win our Grand Prize to have your airline, hotel and airport transportation expenses covered. The only thing that's not included in the Grand Prize is tickets to RushCon itself--so be sure and register soon for your chance to win. Second prize gets their Sunday Event tickets paid for (or refunded as the case may be.) Details and official rules at our website. ___________________________________________________________________________ SUNDAY EVENT Due to the great response we got to last years cruise, we decided to bring it back again this year! We are proud to announce: "The Gangster of Boats Cruise: (Part V of a Trilogy)" Sunday July 24th, 2005 2pm to ? Cap off the perfect weekend with "a drink and a friend" as you are whisked away on a private afternoon cruise of gorgeous Lake Ontario. Photograph the breathtaking views of the Toronto skyline and lush scenery as we cruise through the beautiful Toronto Islands. Enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres and have your favorite drink at the cash bar as you prepare to Roll the Bones and win fabulous prizes at our onboard CASINO. Games will be available for fun and prizes (no cash gambling, sorry!) So try your luck and maybe you'll walk away with some Pirate Treasure of your own! Not a gambler? That's ok.. there's plenty to see and do or just pull up a chair and relax as the cool breezes help you wind down from all the RushCon excitement. But wait... there's more.... It wouldn't be a RushCon weekend without our annual pilgrimage to the world famous Orbit Room-- (the night club and Toronto music hotspot owned by Alex Lifeson himself!) After our cruise, we head over to the Orbit Room for a private party from 7pm until ? Enjoy more tasty hors d'oeuvres, mix and mingle with your friends and have one last hoopla before you have to head home to the "real world." Space is VERY limited... (we would love to be able to accommodate everyone, but the size of the boat dictates the maximum number of people we can have on board so REGISTER EARLY.) The Gangster of Boats Cruise is only open to the first 70 registrants. After that, there's no more room! Tickets are $52.50 US and can be purchased via Paypal through our website. (Don't worry if you don't have a Paypal account-- You can purchase tickets on a one-time only basis using your credit card or online check.) Registration opens on April 18th and on a first come, first served basis. Spaces will only be reserved upon receipt of payment... (No waiting list, sorry!) It was wonderful (in part because RUSH capped off the night)!! This year will be no different (sans the RUSH concert), the Orbit Room for a party!!! COOL!!!!! Everyone who is going -- ENJOY!!!
