When it comes to delivery pizza, I find that the local Mom and Pop pizza places are superior to the big chains as you have a lot more options and it just plain tastes better. We've got a place by us called Famulari's and their pizza is awesome! They make a chunky style pizza sauce that's to die for. Here's their website in case any of you ever make it down here to Summerville: Famulari's. If any of you have a Mom and Pop pizza place near you give them a try. tangy Posted August 1, 2010 Share Posted August 1, 2010 I made a few pies on friday. homemade dough provolone/mozzarella/parmesan olive oil kosher salt from the garden- picked/washed/cut and on pie in less than 5 minutes 4 varieties of tomatoes basil oregano hot cherry peppers t is for tangy! I've had a slice of New York pizza from this one mom & pop shop in the city once. I forget the name, but it was damn good And I've yet to try the thinner version of NY style pizza they call New Haven style, from this place in New Haven, CT called Frank Pepe's.
