Alien Shore and other unintelligible words??

I have been trying for years to hear what the words are at the beginning of Alien Shore....Anyone have any ideas??

I always thought it sounded like a segment of the arabic call to prayer from the mosque!!

I wish I could find the source, because really this may be some guess that I and others took as truth. But I swear, the story went that the guys were staying somewhere there was a sculling competition and they recorded the starter. If you listen close it really sounds like "men about oars" which also makes sense in context of the song.

However, without "official" proof, this issue remains "open" in my mind.
