NeilPeartFan2112
Tears, Rivendell, and Madrigal are ones that I usually skip. Maybe because they're slower... Just could never get into them.
DoubleAgent420
Yeah I don't dig Rivendell. Nor do I dig Fountain of Lamneth, Neurotica, or You Bet Your Life. I dig the first album very much, despite that it's different.

Schro
This has been gnawing at me a bit too, so allow me to add my 2 cents. Please, noone get offended - of course I love Rush, I'm just letting off a little steam here. Ok, here we go. 2112 - Acute lack of drumfills and couldn't get into the story. Xanadu - Takes 4 minutes before we get to the lyrics, what's up with that? Spirit of Radio - Too true to life, I prefer to think promotors don't control radio and live in denial. The Trees - Middle section could use more energy. Freewill - See above. Also, who is "Will" and why does he need to be freed? Not answered in the lyrics - frustrating. The Camera Eye - overplayed on tour, enough already. Secret Touch - lacks emotion. and finally.. Tom Sawyer - because they never play it live. Whew, I feel much better now that's off my chest. Good day! Schro

ALifeson85
Hahaha, thats hilarious! Anywho, here's some songs that never really got my attention... Lessons Witch Hunt...ok. I DO really like the live version from A Show of Hands, but the studio version dosn't really...do much for me for some reason. That's basiclly the only track form Moving Pictures i usually either skip, or tune myself out from. Red Lenses Second Nature You Bet Your Life The Speed of Love ...thats all I can really think of. Those are pretty much the only one's I dislike. -Matt
Proggy
QUOTE (My_Shrimp_Cot @ Apr 9 2005, 10:32 PM) Tom Sawyer It's no laughing matter -I actually do skip over Tom Sawyer whenever I listen to Moving Pictures or one of my boots. It's not a song I dislike exactly, I just don't have any desire to listen to it most of the times. Others I skip regularly: The Speed Of Love Grand Designs (yes, I am aware that I'm the only one! ) and Manhattan Project immediately after that...in fact, I often start to listen to PoW from Marathon onwards Rivendell Tai Shan Dog Years Countdown As much as I dislike RTB, I don't skip anything on it the very few times I give it a spin; see, the idea is to endure The Big Wheel, Neurotica, You Bet Your Life and Heresy so as to gain an even bigger appreciation for the good stuff Rush has done over the years. Let me tell you, something like Hemispheres or Grace sounds absolutely mindblowing after a listening to that record! As for the stuff on Vapor Trails, well, I have now had a shortened version of it burnt for myself, which means that I will probably never hear Freeze, Stars Look Down, Sweet Miracle or Out Of The Cradle ever again...unless I really feel like torturing myself some day! The debut is pure fun -don't give it a listening all that often but when I do, I can't bring myself to skip anything on it...hey, they were young at the time and to me there is a charm to those songs from that perspective alone. gopherman
Okay - some of you are listing Virtuality. I agree, the lyrics are not superb. However, it will go down in history as a good period piece. Therefore, I can't put it on the list. Besides, it is fantastic when played loud - really loud. A Passage to Bangkok (sacriledge! I hear you say) - also better when played really loud - is my nominee for the list. I don't think the guys are really suited for drug lyrics.
