GhostGirl
QUOTE (ES-335 @ Apr 18 2005, 09:35 PM) The Edge with an ES-345 ... not quite the classic of an ES-335 ... but close enough to be cool. I knew I liked him for a reason, Lee.

barney_rebel
I am playing "New Years Day" on my bass right now. Adam Clayton is one of the most simplistic bassists out there. Cool as a cat.

I read that once during a show, as Adam played that intro riff to NYD, that Bono turned around and yelled, "I love you, Adam Clayton!" He said later that no one else could've come up with that riff. I know it's nothing fancy, but it still ROCKS, man. It just....ROCKS.

John Entwistle from the Who is a lot like him in that regard. The morning we lucked out on U2 tickets I downloaded all the tabs I could find. So far I learned: New Year's Day With or Without You Desire Angel of Harlem (my personal favourite U2 song) Sunday Bloody Sunday Mysterious Ways (that one is pretty tough)

When Rattle and Hum was out I was having a tough time in school. That album I played a lot. It was very uplifting. Actung Baby was an album I got around when I bought Roll The Bones. I was happy to finish off Grade 14 and move away to the big city of Toronto for university
