I just spoke with Neil, and he'll swing by tommorrow night with your refund.

This was an a-hole-ish statement. Totally unnecessary.

I actually thought that was pretty funny. yes.gif laugh.gif unsure.gif ph34r.gif

I think all three comments are hilarious!!

This is the 400 post on this thread..... facepalm.gif

Chris...it may be time to let the suit go....

You fought the good fight....and seemingly lost...it's okay.

Either go to the rescheduled show or sell your ticket.

Your buddies will reimburse you on the beers next year.

No - all I want is my $480 back - and I want an order from the court (or agreement from the band and Live Nation) that anyone else that wants a refund can get one. As it stands now, refund requests are being denied. I made one before filing the lawsuit and was told no. I don't think I am being an ass for filing a lawsuit when Live Nation is refusing to refund money for a show that did not occur. If it is in fact rescheduled for Sept I cannot go - I'd be happy to go to the 7/17 show in Toronto, or the 7/21 show in Philly, or the 7/23 show in Saratog or 7/24 Wantagh but don't have the $$$ to lay out again -- I think it is totally unreasonable to deny a refund request for a show that did not happen. I think it is unfair to advertise rain or shine and then cancel a show on account of rain and not give a refund. I would have sat through the show notwithstanding the rain and loved it, I'm sure -- but they cancelled it because they could not keep the stage dry and wires shorted - fine - so offer people a refund. I really fnd it hard to believe that people think I should just suck it up and lose $480 for a show that never happened because "shit happens" -- I want to see RUSH - paid to see RUSH and as it stands right now will not be able to see RUSH. Why is Live Nation refusing refund requests? RUSH has the power to order their agent/promoter to honor refund requests and that is what I am askined for.

Hello Chris, I was not happy to hear that you sued the band, what happens when it rains and Geddy's bass or Alex's guitar gets wet? It would electricute them and it could kill them, so for the safety of the band they cancelled the show, THE SHOW HAS BEEN RESCEDULED TO MONDAY, AUGUST 23.

Maybe Chris settled out of court for a ......T-shirt, and a Time Machine water bottle.....

What a savvy lawyer....And we questioned his mettle....

He probably will miss the rescheduled show, on principle.....but maybe he 'won' his battle.

If so...he can suck on his water bottle and bask in his glory.

Heh, I was just wondering about this myself. cool.gif

Chris, what happened? Did you sell your tickets?

Did you attend the rescheduled Chicago show? Were you pelted with beer and peanuts by fans who recognized you from the interwebs? tongue.gif

Or did you proceed with your lawsuit, and if so what happened?

Inquiring minds want to know. cool.gif

Chris Langone should print up a t-shirt that says:

"I sued Rush and all I got was this stupid hat."

Shouldn't he print that up on a hat? confused13.gif

Duh, yeah! Of course that make sense. And then I thought it was a lot to fit on a hat and then my mind just lost its way... tongue.gif

...the Sun Times would not report on a non-existent lawsuit. And as I mentioned earlier, they have a legal beat reporter over at the courthouse reviewing all the new filings as they come in.

...the recent Sun Time article shows they have their spin machine operating and are well aware of this lawsuit.

So.

The Sun Times are a respectable newspaper who employ experts and only report the facts... and The Sun Times are manipulative, lying, biased spin doctors.

Which one is it, again?

I meant the recent Sun Times article shows that Live Nation has their spin machine going. Not the Sun Times. I edited the post to clarify.

He hasn't logged in to TRF since August 25th, so don't hold your breath!
