trenken
The detail on that is nuts though. I dont want to know how much that thing costs.
bscsmkr
That is awesome. I like way more than the S&A kit. This has a lot going on as well, but in a different never seen anything like this in the history of drums type of way. Speechless It kind of looks like he switched a couple sizes of a few drums. Smaller perhaps? Edited June 29, 2010 by bscsmkr
trenken
I like how they photoshopped him into the background environment, looks cool. I dont think Neil has any photos quite like that.

I thought the same thing. That is one very nice looking and classy set.
GhostGirl
Wow...it's kind of gaudy...the color's nice though. I wish he'd stop dressing to "match" his kits.
Outtalove
ok, first and foremost, my humble apology to The Sphere. now I will buy you many beers, as you completely, totally and in all other ways ROCK! as far as the kit, a few people have said it looks smaller or he's got smaller sized toms, but it looks the same to me. The Steampunk look is amazing and it's probably the coolest looking kit he's ever had (all respects still paid to the classic Big Red kit of the 80's) I am really looking forward to seeing the complete stage set. Mara
QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Jun 29 2010, 11:02 AM) Wow...it's kind of gaudy...the color's nice though. I wish he'd stop dressing to "match" his kits. I like the shirt - wouldn't mind having one (even better, I wouldn't mind having THAT EXACT ONE ). It's the beanie, though. Always the damn beanie. Or African cap. I don't care what they are, I just don't like them.
Outtalove
it's also got a lot of Jules Verne though, doesn't it? it also looks as if those green tubes and portals on the riser are lit up. very bad ass!
Outtalove
Mara, try playing drums for three hours on a 100+ degree stage, you'll be very glad you have something to absorb the sweat!
Mara
QUOTE (Outtalove @ Jun 29 2010, 11:09 AM) Mara, try playing drums for three hours on a 100+ degree stage, you'll be very glad you have something to absorb the sweat! Oh I know. First and foremost, his comfort is what matters. I just preferred the bandannas. That's all. That riser is the shit.
The Sphere
Thanks, outtalove -"do we have to be forgiving at last? what else can we do" Glad you're enjoying it - I agree with your comments! And there's more to the port holes than lighting up, but no more spoiling! All will be revealed tonight!

Sir Lerxst
Looks the same size to me, just Neil is standing up. Once he is sitting at it, his eye-line will be about the same as the front crash cymbal.
