Moonraker
Everyone in high school is trying to find some niche they can call themselves part of. Thats simply the way most people work, they usually dont develop thier own personality till afterwards when they are no longer surrounded, nor really care, what had gone on in HS. Then again, thats not everyone.
Dweezil
I find it incredibly wierd that someone would get upset over the way someone dresses? WTF? How is it hurting them?
Moonraker
QUOTE (dweezil @ Apr 29 2005, 02:59 PM) I find it incredibly wierd that someone would get upset over the way someone dresses? WTF? How is it hurting them? Its not so much the way they dress, but the mentallity that is usually (not always) attached to the person that dresses that certain way. High school kids are extremely good at forming cliques and immediatly dismissing anybody that doesnt fit in. This group is no exception in thinking they are better then other people. These ones tend to think that whatever music or bit of pop culture they are into is better then anything else that is out there, despite the fact they havent heard it. While this is of course not true among everybody the group, it only takes one bad apple to spoil the whole bunch.
