I graduated college with a BS in Accounting or something a few days ago

There's a reason they call it a BS degree...you'll realize that in a year or so. But congrats on your accomplishment. Edited by HemiBeers

It's a degree in Accounting, not Geology or Business Admin. I already got a job.

Yeah, I was going to say Accounting is a pretty safe bet for landing (at least) a decent job.

Congrats!

I went to the Cosmos Music Fest yesterday and met some great guys:

George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob):

Jordam Rudess (Dream Theater):

Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio, The Dead Daisies)

And to top it off, Richie Kotzen played for one hour for a VERY small crowd - this is as personal as it's ever going to get!

Great!

Lynch may have been slightly disengaged but he still looks like a cool m***********.

Yeah, I complimented him on the Ultraphonix track that was released, he said "if you like that track, wait until you hear the rest of the album". His clinic was good, and filled with funny stories.

Neat stuff, Rod! I got into George Lynch right when he started Lynch Mob. Great player and composer!

That's so great! :hi: to Richie! He is originally from our area of Pennsylvania.

Richie's show was amazing...it was so hot outside, FINALLY! There was going to be a meet and greet with him later, but I couldn't stay for it. Oh well, maybe next time.

Lynch's clinic was good, he played Mr. Scary and many other cool songs to a click track. And Jordan's was amazing too, he was a cool guy to hang out with - I asked him about a possible tour with Levin Minneman Rudess, and he said there's ZERO chance of that happening, only studio albums. My interaction with Doug was quick, but I told him we had a chat years ago in Rio when he played with Glenn Hughes, and he remembered the venue.

My second wife and I got a free gift when we moved into our Town House in 2005, the person before us left a Whitesnake visor. The type without the top part? byu91qE.jpg

Got a new addition to the family, a 5-week old heeler-lab mix named "Raya" (rye-uh).

Yup. I lived in Portland for about 4 years and must’ve been to the Crystal Ballroom a hundred times. It’s just been so long that I almost didn’t recognize it.
