Too much shopping!  Family is a blessing and we do draw names, but even with that, there are a lot of people to buy for and no one knows what they want this year.  :(     I feel like my eyeballs are coming out of my head from looking online, not to mention the hours long trip to Kohl's . . . .

My boss, who is a idiot! He give me more work to do and less time to do it on. And then he complain when I do it badly...

It does not make any sense...

Do you clean for a store?

I have worked retail and remember the cleaners being treated like shit.

I clean in a big shopping mall. The whole place...

That sounds like a pretty big job!  Do you get to wear earbuds and listen to music while you are working?  Or do you have to be able to hear if they call you to clean an area?

Well I am not allowed to wear earbuds, but I don´t care, I use it anyway, other use it as well.

I had a fight today with a guy at work, just because he is being lazy and can´t do his work so he want me to do it for him, but I refuse!

I'd just give him the 'Stiff Didget' [finger] and report him to the boss.  blob:https://imgur.com/038726e9-3af3-4bda-bb07-882b3bfe8841blob:https://imgur.com/038726e9-3af3-4bda-bb07-882b3bfe8841

I’ve been covering two salaried positions for almost seven months now. I just work, no muss no fuss, and I get a lot of things done. I’m coming up for a good raise and likely a promotion in the not too distant future.

The key is just in how you approach your work. I’ve had jobs like the ones recently described in this thread. In fact, I recently spent thirteen years in a place that continually took advantage of everything I did for them- they did nothing concrete to recognize it.

So I looked for a new job, and interviewed at various different places for about two years until I found the right fit. Things are a lot better for me now, on the professional front.

Take my point of view however you choose to.

One day back from jail and I hurt a poor deplorables feelings.  f**k their feelings.  They preach first amendment but don’t like it when dished back.  Bunch of selfish hypocrites.  I hope they got a lot of coal today.

My boss, who is holding this whole project together, just quit.  I've only been in the business for seven years and I can't fill his shoes.  Though I may be asked.

Check out the Tex Rail Project in DFW.  I'm running the lab testing portion of it but not the whole damn thing!!

The close-minded bullshit that devolved into personal attacks in that Lyrics Thread. Wtf?
Jezusfuckingchrist people, use that thing between your ears before it atrophies.
It's okay to consider multiple points of view. It's okay to recognize context. It's not okay to personally attack someone just because your knickers are in a knot. Go for a f***ing walk or something. Jeez!

Hi ORFie!
I won't post the link as that means I have to look at that thread again, but you can find it on page 2 of Grand Designs.
It's a thankfully locked thread entitled something like "The Only Lyrics Thread". It only lasted 7 pages.
It starts off innocently enough, then proceeds downhill in very rapid fashion until the wheels come off.
Sad, really.
I'd say "enjoy" but I can't! :P
Good luck!

Ouch! As an engineer, I work for an engineering firm myself. If our sole licensed engineer quit, we'd be screwed!

Good luck to you. If you're asked to take the realms, good luck on doing so adequately
