EagleMoon
Far and Near - Neil Peart Loving it so far. I'm about 30 pages into it. Really nice pictures and Neil's sense of humor is in full force.
The Cat 3
Reading Billy Idol's autobiography (Dancing With Myself) for the second time. Very interesting and well written book. Pleasantly surprised.
Xanadu
Not much of a reader but just finished "Ghost Rider" from Neil Peart, and I have to say he is really gifted at painting a visual picture. You can really feel the desperation he experienced and the need to get away from it all. You have to feel for what this man went through. I'm just glad he was able to pick up the pieces and carry on.

Chicken hawk
http://www.krtv.com/images/2-snowsnake3.jpgGREAT FALLS -- With all of the recent snow in Great Falls, there has been no shortage of snowmen (and snow-women) dotting front yards, but some employees at Mystic Rythmstattoo shop decided to create something a bit more unusual: a snow snake.Jennifer Grischkowsky Fontenot shared the photo above on the KRTV Facebook page on Monday and wrote: "I have been watching it get built for a couple of days now and I think it turned out amazing."The crew at Mystic Rythms, located at 1301 9th Avenue South, posted on Facebook that Wally and Dom created the snowy serpent, and they are asking people to submit names for him (her?); click here to visit their Facebook page.If you have created a unique snow sculpture -- or seen one around town -- let us know, or send us a picture (krtvnews@krtv.com) with details.

Rhyta
Last week, I found a whole bunch of Doctor Who Target novelizations in a charity shop, and added them to my collection. I've got a lot of reading to do.I've finished An Unearthly Child (the novelization of the first ever story), now I'm half way through 4th Doctor classic The Brain of Morbius. Are those the hardback books that are about the size of a soft paperback book? The ones by BBC America? I've got probably a dozen of those. All of the David Tennant era. Most of them are very well done. No, these are ones that they started doing in the 70's. They are novelizations of all the 60's, 70's and 80's stories (minus the two episodes that Douglas Adams wrote) Those newer harback ones are good, too. I've got a few of the talking book ones, with David Tennant reading them. It's great hearing his accent change from his Doctor voice to his normal Scottish accent while narrating. He also does a pretty good Rose Tyler. I've not heard those. Sounds interesting. :)Here's an extract from his reading of The Stone Rose. He does a good Jackie and Mickey, too.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvGoQlZHv5AI love David Tennant's voice, I listened to him narrate How to Train Your Dragon last summer, and it was funny. Have to say I liked the movie version better though, IMHO

Rhyta
Well I finished all of the Longmire books, I sure like those a lot. I ended the year with a couple of steampunky ones, The Girl in the Steel Corset, The Girl with the Clockwork Collar etc. They are fun light reads just to give me a break from heavier stuff. I have started doing some reading challenges on goodreads and they are good for me, trying to finish up certain series and reading other things outside my usual niche. Working on Call of the Wild right now and then will read Slaughterhouse Five as part of a sci-fi challenge. Read a book on meditation which I think might actually get me to try it 10% Happier: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Actually Works—A True Story. Then I made a list of all the Tolkien books I need to read to find the bits they used in the Hobbit movies, at last count it was 11 books. I am not sure that is going to be doable, last time I tried the Silmarllion, just didn't enjoy it and didn't finish it. I wish S. Jackson would publish a guide of sorts so I can pick and choose the parts to read...well that is a long range goal so I don't think it will happen soon. Segue Myles
Started reading Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks yesterday. Enjoy the Edwardian pornography while it lasts.
