We are super excited to welcome singer-songwriter, Jacob Moon! Many of you will recognize him from his phenomenal YouTube rendition of "Subdivisions." He'll be treating us to that along with a few more of his amazing tunes on our Friday night harbor cruise. And as if that wasn't enough, Jacob will be followed by long-time Rush Road Crew member and legend in his own right, Jack Secret. Jack will surprise and delight Con-goers with stories and photos of life on the road with Rush. Saturday will be a fun-filled day of trivia and games. Test your knowledge and skill against other fans. The day will culminate with a thought provoking and insightful panel by none other than Donna Halper herself. Donna is an author, Boston-based historian and radio consultant who - as radio program director in the 1970's -- has been credited with discovering Rush and helping them launch their remarkable career! She will be leading a panel called "Rush versus the Reviewers" to discuss how the band has been treated (and often mistreated) by the media over the years. You will also get the unique opportunity to be seen with "Chromey," the drum kit Neil Peart played on several epic albums! If you're lucky, the drum set will even sigh autographs. Saturday will be topped off with - of course! - the Rush concert at the Air Canada Centre. (Hope you scored some good seats!) On Sunday, we will have our annual RushCon Charity Auction and a tour of Anthem Records, full of awards and honours for their artists, including a certain Canadian trio. Afterwards, get your popcorn ready as we round off RushCon/Force/Ten with a big screen showing of the Tribeca Documentary Award winning "Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage." You may have seen it on TV by this point, but this will be the way it was meant to be seen. The silver screen, surrounded by Rush Fans. We have moved venues this year, but not too far. RUSHCON PHOTO ARCHIVE We are in the process of setting up a RushCon Photo Archive on Flickr. We are looking for as many photos from RushCons past as we can get our hands on! In addition, we are in the process of creating a RushCon history book - in light of our 10th Anniversary - and we'll be sourcing photo material from the archive. All photos used will bear full credit to the photographer, plus a website link (if applicable). Please email your photos to kristy@rushcon.org.
