But, as Slaine said, I would guess members of the road crew change the dryers. Letting a few contest winners change them doesn't sound like a bad idea. Sometimes it's special guests, local radio DJs and the like. For instance, during the Boston show (I think), Major League pitcher Randy Johnson got to change the laundry. Kind of fitting as Randy is a big Rush fan and Geddy is a baseball fan. A match made in heaven. The site also had info about Alex's different rambles in the middle of LVS.
