I read paganoman's post regarding Stick It Out from Different Stages.

I stuck it on and listened, then I thought wow I've never played disk 3 for like ages.

Well then I remebered being thrilled when DS came out, cos there in glorious CD quality was a recording of the first 2.gif tour I ever went too 653.gif. I saw them in Newcastle UK, where if I remember right they had some sound problems. Geddy sang the,

"What you own is your own kingdom"

"What you do is your own glory"

"What you love is your own power.."

part of Something for Nothing off stage.

Anyone else happen to be there and remember that ??

Anyone else have there first 2.gif tour recorded ??

Any thoughts on remembering the good (??) old days applaudit.gif ??

My first Rush show was in Columbia, S.C. (The Township Auditorium) in 1978 during the "Tour of the Hemispheres", (Head East opened). I remember the crowd of about 8 that I was with (and pretty much everyone else there) standing on our armrests, pumping our fists in the air during 2112, then these flashpots go off, we looked like something out of a cartoon, everyone landed in the seats behind them! We laughed our asses off at that.

Setlist:

Anthem

A Passage to Bangkok

By-Tor (abbreviated)

Xanadu

Something for Nothing

The Trees

Cygnus X-1

Hemispheres

Closer to the Heart

Circumstances

A Farewell to Kings

La Villa Strangiato

2112

Working Man

In the Mood

Drum Solo applaudit.gif
