I dId hate the Dodgers for a number of years but I hate the Gnats more. I would root for the Padres but they are never or rarely any good anyway. I am no fan of the Bears, but I respect the history the team has, and the rivalry with the Packers... so contrary to what people might think, the Bears would not even be considered for my list. Don't get me wrong I'm not a Barry fan off the field but on the field he was something else. It's funny people in the East Bay tend to really hate the peninsula teams like the Giant's and 49ers. I guess feeling like the disrespected little brother with hand me downs runs deep. For a long time the A's had the only good baseball around here. The Giant's for a long stretch were a joke and almost moved to St Petersburg Florida. I love the three rings but I don't take the WS Championships for granted. After the 2002 World Series I thought the Giant's would never win one. Especially after the colossal meltdown in game six. I"m not sure why the Giant's would be so hated though by A's fans you got to kick our azz four straight during the "quake" series.
