PlaysLikeMyung Posted April 14, 2010 Share Posted April 14, 2010 I'm an active member of the DreamTheaterForums and when it was announced that they would be touring with Iron Maiden, I promptly signed up for their fan club so I could do the fan club presale The day the presale started (and at 10 AM), my dad purchased 3 tickets, and yet we got kinda crappy seats. It's at PNC, and we got Sec 304, row G. A fellow poster on DTF did the same thing at the same time, yet got Section 102 (right in the center). He suggested that I pick my own seats rather than choosing 'best available', but that's what we did. There wasn't an option for choosing your own section when he purchased the tickets. That said, is there a sort of 'strategy' to buying tickets these days? What should I do this time around?
