If me or my sis win tix off the radio tomorrow morning, I'll definitely be there...but if not, I'll still go, only to be stuck on the crappy lawn...

Nothing wrong with that lawn...and I have it on good authority there will be some pretty cool people on that lawn!

That's great, but my main concern is running into the loser I went along with to see the S&A tour...the one who couldn't keep his hands to himself, and nearly ruined the show for me... http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/unsure.gif

I'm gonna try for decent seats once they go on sale Saturday. If the cheap seats are expensive anyway, might as well shell out the extra 50 bucks for good ones, right? http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/confused13.gif

I actually wanted lawn seats, so I could hang with everyone...but my brother got us SEC 304 ROW V. Which will do nicely thank you! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Hope to see you there!

I'll be there with my teenaged kids, who are big Rush fans by the way. I got tix in sect. 403. I went for the cheapest seats I could find that weren't on the lawn. Not that there is anything wrong with the lawn. I just prefer a seat.

Just so you guys know, last year, PNC put a big damper on tailgating plans. They turned away cars at the entrance if they showed up too early. They're discouraging tailgating because of a number of incidents over the past few years at other shows. Rush shows shouldn't be a problem for them, but they applied the policy to all shows, so as to be fair I guess.

Last year, we arranged to meet at TGI Friday's on Route 35 in Hazlet before the show. It wasn't crowded at all, and was perfect for a meetup. A few of us met up there (Pass The Ammunition, Hatchet Axe & Saw, Metaldad, eguy...to name a few), until we got the call that Pags' vehicle broke down and a whole crew of people that were coming down from Pagscon were huddled at an Exxon station trying to figure out how to solve Pags' dilemma.

I'm not sure if the Exxon will welcome us back, but it might also be an option. I thought we were pretty well behaved on that Exxon lawn last year http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Great memories...

EDIT: Holy crap...I just realized it wasn't last year, it was 2 years ago???? Jeez...time flies.

The Exxon is a memory that will never fade. I've never felt so uplifted from so many people. You are all awesome.

And I don't think the Exxon ever rocked as hard as it did that day. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

You know what was also pretty awesome Pags? Through all the hassle with your car, you were still very concerned about everyone having a good time. It was still one of your main priorities. That's just downright awesome, and everybody noticed. Even though the day didn't go exactly according to plan, it still turned out to be pretty effing great. If the Exxon Extravaganza hadn't happened, I'm not so sure we'd still be talking about that day.

It was an amazing day! Those beers in TGIs? Instant jet-lag cure.

Looking forward to meeting as many of you as is possible this September.

Seriously thinking of getting a Premium ticket, but if any TRFers are gonna be on the lawn, then the lawn it is! I had great tickets in 08, but the second half on the lawn was better, WAY BETTER!

IIRC, 4 Lawn tix were under $100 (mebbe $98? I forget, http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/tongue.gif), and that was the day of the show at the box office...

But who knows 2 years from then...

I am pretty sure that we paid around 35 or 40 bucks for them 2 years ago... under 50 with fees and whatnot
