I think it was on the Minnesota State fair site where I read 17,000 was the max, since it was renovated.

Don't quote me on that, though.

Yep, 17,000 according to good 'ol wikipedia

Also, I'm surprised that this show isn't sold out yet. Section C, Row 32 is available. And out of 58 rows total? wtf.gif

I figured they would have played Excel Energy Center. It should be a treat having them at the fair! I'll have to try and make it back home for this one. 1022.gif

We met up last time and grabbed a bite to eat before the show together, at the 2009 S&A tour at Excel.  You came out of Vegas.

Should be a great time...

Just got an e-mail that my tickets have shipped (Music today)... very excited to get them in hand.. i can sleep better now. 653.gif  653.gif

I was concerned becasue I am traveling for 2 weeks until the day before the show, infact cut the trip short to be back on Friday night.  Worried they would show up after I left and have timing issues.

Well, I got my MusicToday tickets on Thursday.  Oh what a sight when I open that FedEx folder and out popped an envelope with 2 tickets in it.  That made my whole week.

Parking around the fair is not to bad. You can take the bus from any metro tansit parking lot or pay to park at the fair. The buss's run every ten minutes. Many people that live around the fair also will let you park in their lawn for a fee.

Another good idea, one which I have done for years, is park at the Minneapolis Campus of the U of M, and ride the shuttle.  Plenty of parking for free and the shuttle runs all the time.

Also all the major shopping malls in the area run shuttles as well for free with free parking. Maybe not as often as the University lots. (near new stadium, private road the busses run on.)

I have found that homeowners in the area charge, and in some cases charge "Big Money" (pardon the pun) to park in their yards.   The shuttles give you 'door to car' service for free.

Getting pumped for it now...!!! 2.gif  2.gif  2.gif

That is kinda neat to have him here on his B-Day.  We'll have to keep our eye out for them.  I am lucky enough to have seats close enough to figure it out maybe.  21st row plz 1...!!!

Got a buddy, with a buddy who has an extra pair in "section H" I think, grandstand 1st row.!!   I'm getting more info on those, but they would be pretty darn good spots as well.  He bought 10, not knowing who he could recruit to go.  Offering at face value to friends currently...

That's a darn good seat, who do you manage to pull seating like that.
Big $$ I suppose.  I wanted to win some from KQ, it seems they had plenty of VIP seats to give away.

It would be cool to hook up with a couple of TRF'ers before the show.  I'll be at the fair all day with the family and then hooking up with the gang before the show. trink39.gif
