as much as i'm so wanting to see this time machine tour. financially speaking this will be the hardest show for me to budget for. if it was here at the clark co. amp. it would be simpler. only 12mins from the house. with that said, yes i'll be going to WRA.

I'll be there! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

But I must admit, I'm very stressed out on what kind of seats I'm gonna pull down.

This venue is gonna be drawing the normal Seattle crowd, as well as Vancouver, BC and Portland people...who normally have their own show. Then you have people coming over from Spokane...and crazies like me making the trek from Montana. It's gonna sell out for sure in a hurry.

Hard to believe it's the ONLY show in the NW. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/confused13.gif

http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/1022.gif I should be there with a very good friend, my son 6, and my nephew, 29.

Hoping there will be a meet-up before the show.

Good luck to everyone trying to get tickets, it looks like they may be hard to get since Portland, Vancouver,CA and Spokane are also trying to get in too.

It's been a while, I'm glad to be back!!!!

...Well, I'll be in the $50 section. No problem. I hope to meet some fellow TRF'ers this time, seeing as I had just joined during the last tour.

I'll keep in touch.

Outside chance i might pop down.

Same here. I am going to the show in Utah (it's just closer for me) for sure, but then I would like to catch at least one other show, so it will either be Seattle (my preference) or Vegas.

Got my tickets today on presale. Seems to be pretty good seats at the amphitheater. I'm in Section 104, row 8 seats 14,16 and 16.

5I've been in seats a section back further and those were great seats, these should be a little better, almost center stage leaning more towards Alex's side.

I'm juiced.

How did you get 3 tickets in the same area?

I followed the directions from Rush.com for fanpresale, signed up, asked for 3 seats and got them...

at first the selection was far left seats on Geddy's side but too far off center for me so I requested new selections and got the near mid stage seats

A tad shocked at the ticket prices. $995 if you wanted within the first five rows (that's for one ticket). I wanted section five (Alex's side) but for some reason I can't seem to find anyone selling tickets in that section. Doesn't matter too much anyway since one ticket will cost me about $400. I was thinking that I wouldn't mind spending a couple hundred to be somewhere around row 10 but this is outrageous. I was not expecting the tickets to be that expensive.

Where were you buying tickets? http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/unsure.gif

From the Musictoday pre-sale, I got Section 5 for $134 (single).

Also got two tickets together in Section 101 for the same price (each).

If this concert had been at The Gorge, I would've flown out from CT to go with my brother. But White River just ain't worth it.

Maybe next year....

I got 3 tickets, one for me and my daughter and whoever else is extra nice to me in the upcoming months. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif Section 105, row 3, seats 13, 14 and 15.

Does anyone know which way the seats are numbered? Facing the stage do they start with seat 1 at the left or right end of each section? And roughly how many seats per row?

I had two windows open. One for livenation and the other for stubhub. Stubhub's prices were about $50 more expensive than livenation's. I did try the Rush.com presale route too but the closest I could get was section 101. Not to sound like a little snot but I don't want to be further back than like row 10.

I wish I would have spent my time searching the Rush.com presale than the other two. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif

At this point, I'm going to see what tickets become available through the Rush fan web sites and try my luck at radio contests. Or, see if I can get anything decent when tickets go on regular sale.

Yeah, it was a pain but I finally got row 12. This will be my closest since row 5 for Presto. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/653.gif

I think I probably could have done even better if I'd been better prepared. I didn't even create my user ID until after the pre-sale had started. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/comp26.gif

Hi Janie, its been a long time!!!!!

Anyway, I figured I had lost out on http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/2.gif .com but after 40 minutes, and just about giving up, I got lucky and got Row 1 Section 102.

I really thought that I missed out this morning. I had 4 windows open and not having any luck anywhere...

I don't know about anybody else but, I am tired, after 5 tours now, of buying on the internet!!!!!!!! Lets go back to maybe, sleeping at the local Tower Records!!! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/wacko.gif

Janie, I hope you get lucky and find tickets at a decent price!!

A little early to throw this out there, but is anybody down to carpool from Portland? I don't drive and I'm still talking to a few friends who might want to go but I'm not really that optimistic so I might need a ride up there. Of course I'd be willing to chip in for gas etc.

EDIT: what are the chances of me being able to get decent seats if I can't buy for a few weeks?

I have no idea. I'm in the same boat as you. I royally messed up my chances at scoring a good seat with the presale. I'm hoping some decent seats are left and will be offered during the regular sale. Fingers crossed we both get tickets!

..Funny thing I just noticed. The date is Aug. 7th. For whatever reason I read 17th. The 7th is on our 2nd anniversary weekend (the wifey and I got married on the 8th.) I might try to get us some tickets on the 100 level. I see they're going for $80... what is the "service" charge?

I'm of thinking of grabbing a couple of extra shifts to make some $$$ to make this a helluva weekend. Gonna rent a nice hotel room and such for me and milady. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/wub.gif

Hope to see some of you there...
