I understand Rush will play the entire Moving Pictures album on that date. Has anyone else heard about the boys doing the same in their city? http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/trink39.gif

I'm trying to remeber what was different, because I went to both of them on the last tour. If there was anything different, it was just one song perhaps.

I guess I'm picky. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif Anyway, it's a mute point since they're going to do the Moving Picture thing everywhere. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/trink39.gif

Picked up some seats, pretty far in the back. It's a low-capacity venue so I'm perfectly fine with the seats we got. Just as long as I'm there http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

Anyone up for a gathering somewhere for a bite to eat & a beer or whatever?

Any suggestions on where to meet as well?

Looks like 4th row at the pavillion for me. Has anyone seen a show at this venue? I'm in section 105... far left. I'm hoping that I have a good view of the full stage. Can anyone confirm this? I hear there isn't a bad seat at that venue.

Has there been any talk about meeting up somewhere prior to the show? I got linked here and I wanted to see if anyone was doing such a thing. Last tour, UC show...many gathered at a bar down the street, and we had a great time, though it was just "luck" that we ran across each other. I am not familiar with the venue. I know where to go, but not what would be a good place to meet.

There is not anywhere for a meetup prior to the show... This venue is located on what was previously Meigs Field which was a small aircraft airport on Northerly Island... It's a very nice nature park now with trails for cycling. The Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, and Field Museum campus are all right closeby. There are zero bars or anything remotely similar... Tailgating is also not allowed in the parking lots that are at the venue, but you may be able to have a couple in the Mcormick Place parking lots and take the shuttle over...

Honestly, there really are no places by the venue. Not one. Meeting up will be in the parking lot or inside or somewhere on Michigan Avenue a mile plus walk away....

Sorry to be a whore, but it is verdad.

I GUESS THE ONLY PLACE I CAN THINK OF IS THE BENNIGAN'S (if they're still there) ACROSS FROM THE ART INSTITUTE!

Other than that, I guess we'll have to Google, Yahoo or Bing.

This is a quick plane ride from Lexington...could be the one I attend.

How is the Charter One Pavilon?

It's your typical out door music venue. It's not bad when you are in the pavilion.

As for a place to meet up? I think this place is still in the middle of corn fields. The best thing to do is find a place to tailgate in the parking lot, or pick a place inside the venue.

I'm in section 101 and I've heard nothing but good about this place. Unfortunately, I myself have never attended a show there but some friends of mine have. The only thing I'm worried about is rain. The entire place is out in the open so if it starts raining, there is no escape. Give yourself plenty of time for parking too because it can be a hassle from what I've been told. If you want to park at the planetarium, (which is a lot closer) it's 30 bucks. Otherwise, we'll be parking at Soldier Field.

Has anyone been here before. Are the seats elevated or are they flat like main floor in an arena. I looked at some pictures and it looks like section 100's & 200's are flat.

Never been there but the 100 and 200 sections are flat. From there back its elevated from what I can tell from the pics Ive seen. Go to Livenation.com and type in the venue. You can get quite a bit of info from there.

saw incubus there last summer. the 'ground' section is flat- they must add chairs, when we saw incubus the floor was general adm.

the seated sections are stadium style

very small venue, but unless you are on the outer edges, decent view all around. no cover whatsoever, so don't do a rain dance
