It was and awesome show!! The only problem I had is that I was sitting on the far end of the stage on Geddy's side and the amps that were hanging there blocked my view as well as many other in that area from seeing the video screen. It was so good that I didn't even miss the videos at all.

This was exactly my experience. Extreme Geddy's side, almost ALL THE WAY to that end of the stage, and I couldn't see more than a corner of the screen.

Even though the crowd didn't know everything, strange they seemed to die during TCE http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/confused13.gif, they still cheered very loudly after every song. Which I guess speaks to how good of performers they are that they can take an obscure song and still get loud applause after the song is done.

Just goes to show. The crowd stood for EVERY SONG, even the ballads. There was never a song where the people said, "Aw hell, I'm sitting for this crap." This was actually a sticking point for my brother-in-law, who kept complaining that he wanted to sit.

Where was your seat at? I was in the last seat of Row P in Section 6 it's possible we were near each other. I didn't notice anyone sitting either but if they did it wasn't for too long at all. Neil's solo is the only drum solo I know of that people stand up for and don't walk out and go to the concessions. It's almost as if you're walking out on God if you do that even though he doesn't believe in that stuff http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Section 6, Row S, about ten seats in from the far right side.

So I'm guessing I was a couple rows behind you and to your left.

We were Section 6 Row O the two farthest seats to the right. You may have seen me, I had my YY-ZED license plate with me. Sucks you didn't make it to the meet up, man. Next time http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/trink39.gif

tired...soo tired

After about 3 hours of sleep on Thursday(mixture of excitement and heat.), then getting home at about quarter after 2 after the show. Driving drowsy, in the rain on the Thruway, started pouring when I got a few miles past Amsterdam, then poured strait until about Rome. I had to stop at a rest area about halfway through.

Then accepting being the driver for a friend of mine's bachelor party last night (got home at about 4:30am)

Easy driving thankfully, the Thruway is a very easy drive, especially at night when it's pretty much empty.

so I may fall asleep by the end of this post.

It went far better than I could have ever hoped (finally finding a Rush shirt, meeting up, finding the seat, driving, etc...). Good to meet everyone. Even the rain stayed away for just the perfect amount of time. Next time should be better now that I know what I'm doing.

I was find standing the whole time, the only times I've stood at a concert for the whole time are when they're a part of a larger event (The free shows at the NYS Fair)

First one, couldn't have asked for much more (except for a non-broken camera, it was working last week). Can't wait for the next one.

now to get some sleep, sweet sweet sleep, it's a lot cooler up here now.

Here we are! A successful TRF meetup at SPAC:

http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y149/iluvgeddy/DSC03113.jpg

From left to right:

Chrysalii, Kid Gloves, Tarkus406, PhilCastro, PhilsfriendMatt, non-TRF member who's real name escapes me (he should join TRF, eh?)

Oh and me right in front looking like a doofus.

My friend Richard took the photo; another big fan who is not on the forum *yet* but lives right in Saratoga.

I was sitting right behind you then. You and the lady you were with were waring Hemisphere shirts. Next time i'll have to meet up with you guys but I don't own a laptop and since I came down from Buffalo my phone didn't have reception out there http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/wtf.gif So I wasn't able to get internet access on my phone to see what the final plan for the meet up was before I left.

Oh well, maybe next time.

...I have an odd stance. I must be strange, my feet are the first thing I noticed (outside of it being the first pic where my mouth is open, that I can think of right now)

I liked the hat.

The new video from Rush on the Road is apparently from SPAC! Interview w/ the boys. Can't listen to it at work but will go home and watch.

Anyone see this yet??
