I am going to really try to make this show again this year.  I don't live as close but this is one of my favorite venues.

If I can score decent seats I will make it.  It's about a 4.5 hour drive for me, but well worth it.  Love the venue!!!!

Jill -

My friend Gary can't make the SPAC date and I myself am iffy.  So I'm thinking we'll definitely do the State Fair gig in Syracuse, and maybe I'll do SPAC too, if I'm able.

I will be there. It is about an hour and 20 from my house. I've seen them there on the last few tours. Great venue. I see a show there at least once a year. I will be on the lawn. The indoor prices are a bit out of my league if I want to hit the 'cuse show as well.

I want to go, but I'll have some difficulties with it.
I should have enough money (three pay and taxes this month...yay), but the big obstacle would be getting the work.  It's hard to get a day off in the summer without calling in.  Oh and driving all that way alone (since they're coming to the Fair, I doubt I could get anyone to go with me), as well as the furthest east I've been is Utica, but that doesn't matter thanks to my barely used GPS (I know where everything west and north of here is, just not south and east).
but that week was up for bid a while back, and I have the time saved up for it, so it may be open.
It would be my first Rush concert if I go (otherwise it would be the Fair).

I may or may not be in Scotland on the date of the SPAC show; I don't know yet.

So I'm planning on the State Fair/Syracuse show, and if it turns out I can make SPAC then I'll go to that show too.

Jill, I would love to make it but unfortunately this time it looks like I will not be able to but nothing can take the place of that first show for me at SPAC Front row with you in '08. I am hoping to squeeze in a quick trip for the San Francisco show this time and next year I may stay longer. yes.gif  bekloppt.gif  hug2.gif

It would be a great first show (I saw my first show at SPAC)

It's very easy to get to Saratoga too: Take the thruway east to Albany then take I-87 north to exit 13N.  Go north on route 9 a couple miles and Bam!  You're there.

You might be alone in the car, but you're never alone at a Rush show.  I almost always go solo at the shows and have a blast every time.
