I'd like to hear The Fountain of Lamneth live for once. But yet again, it's too long. But I think it would still be awesome.

Imagine that?..I would be carted away if they played this!..

Screw it, I started thinking songs I'd never heard but I'll just turn it into a setlist.

Three Stooges Intro

Beneath,Between & Behind

Bytor & The Snowdog (The full version)

Necromancer (Agains the full thing)

Cygnus X-1 (The full ten minutes please)

The Twilight Zone (I've allways liked this song)

Show Don't Tell

Digital Man

The Body Electric

Kid Gloves

Turn The Page

Manhatten Project

(Interval)

How It Is

Ghost Of A Chance

Red Barchetta/Bass Solo/Red Lenses (The Full songs but the bass solo at the end of RB extends to the solo that started of RL on the Power Windows tour)

Losing It

Leave That Thing Alone

O Baterista

Resist (Acoustic)

Rivendell

Different Strings

Double Agent

Virtuality

Sweet Miracle

Cut To The Chase

Alien Shore

Xanadu/Working Man (The full songs but the way they linked the two on the R30 tour)

Encore: Entre Nous/The Camera Eye (Full songs with the synth linking the end of EN to the beginning of TCE)

I think it is fairly well judged, it starts with a few rockers leading into some proggy stuff slowly getting more synth stuff till the interval. The second half starts fairly poppy but gets more instrumental with the bass solo and the jazzy drum solo leading into the now standard acoustic section and the quiet different strings, this now leads to the big loud finish with lots of energetic songs. The encore is just two cool songs that I like.

It may be out of place in this post but it just made me realise that there are so many good songs they don't really play. I would wet myself if even a portion of this was played.

I've always thought it would be cool if they did No One at the Bridge from Fountain and Return of the Prince from Necromancer as their acoustic selections.

It is highly unrealistic that the band would do this again,
but "I am dying to hear" Red Lenses with Neil Peart's drum solo in between.

That would be great to hear...really I would just love to hear them live again, I don't care what they play.

Here Again if I got to pick one.

I know what you mean Digital Man.

I know I shouldn't take Rush for granted.

Rush has to retire some day. Hopefully later than sooner.

I hope Rush is able to complete one more studio album and then go on tour

supporting it before they retire.

I really hope that I am fortunate enough to be

given the opportunity to see Rush live again.

I got to save up a lot of cash just in case they go on tour again.

I am sorry if I killed this thread.

I would love to here several songs live again.

Jacob's Ladder

Yes!!! new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif They haven't played this song in ages. Long overdue to hear Jacob's Ladder in at least an abbreviated form (though I hope they wouldn't remove the great guitar solo)

I am in total agreeance on this with some of you: Jacobs Ladder!!!!!

i heard a Rush tribute band play it and it was good but not the same as to be able to hear Rush play it themselves. What a freakin cool song!!

"Animate" (though I saw them perform this twice last summer), "A Passage to Bangkok" (4th song bit from the R30 Overture, rather have heard the whole song, but , oh well), "Lakeside Park" would be great! "Between Sun and Moon" also comes to mind... 2.gif

I think I'm going bald.

Entres Nous

Simply because I don't think they have ever played them live and it would be sooooooooo cool and surprising for the hard core fans for them to break it out.
