It is a countdown to something (7:00am eastern on Thursday) . All the members have recently talked about playing new stuff. Some info is leaked about a studio in Toronto where the boys have possibly been hanging.

 

I don't want an announcement for another compilation.

 

I am 'Hope'ful for more new stuff.

According to the boys, they're going to do a shorter tour, then a longer tour in 2011, so definitely not.

 

Besides, I suspect that wouldn't be their style. They wouldn't want to close the door to the future with that kind of finality. Or maybe they will announce a farewell tour at some point, but not THIS year.

I don't see why it would be a farewell. First, we know there's a new album still to be completed as well as more tour dates in 2011. Second, they seem to be in the best frame of mind that they have been in a while (especially Neil). Third, the infamous Kroy Wen on the Counterparts board posted that this is definitely not a farewell tour and he's been dead on about everything and is clearly someone close to Neil, if not Neil himself.
