RushFanForever
In the video interview here, (which I have posted before) Geddy gives a quick mention of seeing The Rolling Stones on the 1989/90 Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle Tour. This interview was conducted backstage at the 2003 Toronto Rocks SARS benefit show. I would assume that Geddy was at one of the Toronto shows which took place on the following dates: September 3, 1989 - CNE Stadium - Toronto, ON September 4, 1989 - CNE Stadium - Toronto, ON or December 3, 1989 - Canada Sky Dome - Toronto, ON December 4, 1989 - Canada Sky Dome - Toronto, ON I was viewing the performance of Honky Tonk Women from the above tour, which featured the giant inflatable women during the performance. I wonder if this was inspiration for the giant inflatable bunnies on the Presto and Roll The Bones Tours and other huge props (Counterparts Tour which featured huge bolts and nuts onstage), along with the pyro on later tours, during 'One Little Victory', which the Stones use on . Mara
I remember people calling that one the "Steel Wheelchairs" tour.
micgtr71
I saw that tour and thought it would be the last we'd hear from them. I thought the same thing when I saw the bunnies
